Print size is just pixels divided by DPI. A 3000-pixel-wide file prints 10 inches wide at 300 DPI (3000 ÷ 300), or 20 inches at 150 DPI. More pixels means you can print bigger while staying sharp. Which resolution should I aim for?

300 DPI — the standard for printables, art prints, cards and stickers.

Can I just make a small image bigger to print larger?

Not really. Enlarging adds pixels by guessing, which looks soft. The reliable maximum print size is set by the pixels you already have — that is exactly what the table below shows.
